Description

The Bondtech LGX Shortcut Copperhead printhead consists of a hotend and an extruder.

Hotend
With the hotend you can print all kinds of filaments at temperatures up to 450°C. With the LGX Shortcut Copperhead hotend (previous name: LGX For Flexibles Set) you can process all kinds of 1.75mm filament quickly and easily, but especially the softer and flexible variants. The filament path is 27mm shorter than the standard Copperhead screw-on hotend. This hotend keeps the print head small and light.

The hotend is easy to assemble in various ways. The reversible cooling basin can be attached to the left or right side of the cooling block. The product is designed so that you can attach a 40mm x 40mm fan to it.

Extruder
The LGX Large Gears eXtruder is Bondtech's first 1.75mm filament feeder with the new Dual Drive technology. This item is designed to be compact, lightweight and symmetrical for better performance and compatibility. You install and clean it easily. The filament preload lever ensures consistent results. Thanks to the larger drive gears, you have more grip on the filament.

The multifunctional interface connection allows you to quickly change tools or applications. The housing is professionally 3D printed with nylon, for maximum strength, precision and higher temperature resistance. In the context of sustainability, no bleaching agents and coatings have been used.

Description You need this Bondtech LGX Shortcut X carriage to install the "Bondtech LGX Shortcut Copperhead for Prusa MK3S" and "Bondtech LGX Shortcut Mosquito for Prusa MK3S" upgrade kits. The X-carriage reduces the distance between the nozzle and the x-axis.

This part is professionally 3D printed with nylon for maximum strength, precision and higher temperature resistance. The unique dual drive ensures trouble-free material feeding, high performance, greater reliability and a higher degree of precision. The filament will no longer jam or show signs of wear thanks to the minimal space of 0.1mm and the shortened PTFE tube between the extruder and the filament sensor.

This upgrade kit contains the latest version of the Bondtech Mini Geared extruder, fitted with a brass motor gear, Pneufit coupling and black housing. The housing parts are professionally SLS printed in nylon for maximum strength and precision.

To use this upgrade kit, you must make the following adjustments:

Bondtech extruder upgrade kit for Prusa I3 MK2 - MK2S

Description This Bondtech extruder upgrade kit is suitable for the Prusa I3 MK2 and the MK2S and already has gears. This kit includes parts to convert the extruder to a 3:1 gear ratio, which provides greater precision, higher resolution, optimised geometry for the heatsink and many other improvements. In addition, the weight is reduced, which reduces vibrations and ghosting.

This set comes with a 25mm pancake stepper, with a torque of 18 Ncm for a lightweight yet powerful extrusion and a new cable for connecting the motor. Use the part cooling fan (50mm x 15mm) of the current printer, it is not included with this item.

The E steps should be updated to 415 for MK2, MK2s and MK2.5. Follow Prusa/Bondtech guide for E steps calibration for MK2s and MK2.5.

The weight is reduced by 121 grams.
