Description The Bondtech extruder upgrade kit is suitable for the Prusa I3 MK2.5 and the MK3 and already have gears. This kit includes parts to convert the extruder to a 3:1 gear ratio, which provides greater precision, higher resolution, optimised geometry for the heatsink and many other improvements. In addition, the weight is reduced, which reduces vibrations and ghosting.

This set comes with a 25mm pancake stepper, with a torque of 18 Ncm for a lightweight yet powerful extrusion and a new cable for connecting the motor. Use the part cooling fan (50mm x 15mm) and original (40mm x 40mm x 10mm) of the current printer, these are not included in this article, as well as the filament sensor.

The E steps should be updated to 415 for MK2, MK2s and MK2.5. Follow Prusa/Bondtech guide for E steps calibration for MK2.5 and MK3.

The weight is reduced by 121 grams.

Description The Bondtech extruder upgrade kit is suitable for the Prusa I3 MK2.5S and the MK3S and already has gears. This kit includes parts to convert the extruder to a 3:1 gear ratio, which provides greater precision, higher resolution, optimised geometry for the heatsink and many other improvements.

The E steps should be updated to 415 for the MK2.5S. For MK3 it should be 830 because it uses 32 bit microstepping. Also, the Z_MAX_POS 205 must be adjusted. The correct firmware can be found at the bottom of this page.

Description Upgrade your Prusa Mini/+ with this new filament sensor. The IFS extruder is designed to fit perfectly into the original Prusa Mini housing. This Bondtech IFS extruder is the successor to the Bondtech Dual Drive Extrusion Upgrade Kit (EXT-KIT-76).

The print head can be used with or without the filament sensor. The hardened steel Dual Drive gears give you more choice of materials to work with. This also allows you to work with abrasive materials, where this would otherwise wear out the gears of the original feeder. Another advantage of this IFS extruder is the adjustable tension.
