Description This eSun ePAHT-CF filament is based on PA6 with an addition of 15% carbon fibres. The high strength, stiffness, mechanical and thermal properties are even better than other nylon filaments from eSun. In many cases, ePAHT-CF can be used as a replacement for metal. This makes it perfect for printing robot, drone and aviation parts.

For long-term use, ePAHT-CF can function well at temperatures up to 150°C. For short-term use it can withstand a temperature of up to 180°C. The filament shrinks little, is not easy to deform and does not break during printing. It is refined and has a matte appearance.

Please note:

For best results, dry ePAHT-CF at 70°C/>12H and print with a skirt around your model.
Because it is not easy to bend, it is advisable to avoid excessive bending of the wire as much as possible.
The added carbon fibres in ePAHT-CF ensure that you can better print this filament with a hard steel nozzle or a ruby nozzle. We also recommend a hard steel extruder.
