Description With the Filament Sentinel from Dyze, filament congestion is a thing of the past!

Prevent failed 3D prints with this filament detector that gives a signal when something is wrong with the filament. In addition, the detector cleans the filament and is easy to mount on your single or dual extruder 3D printer. Attach one or more sentinels to the filament spool holder or in front of the extruder for optimal operation. Suitable for any type of filament with a diameter of 2.85mm.

Note: Does your 3D printer not have an LCD screen? Then the sentinel only works with an Octoprint/OctoPi.

Description This filament run-out sensor for 1.75mm filament detects an empty spool in time and ensures that your prints never fail again!

The product comes with a 100cm long wire:

Red - + 5/3V
Black - Ground
White - Signal

The sensor has a clear arrow marking for the direction of the filament and is very sensitive so that the filament will be detected quickly. The sensor can be easily mounted through the two 3mm holes.

BigTreeTech SFS v2.0 smart filament detection sensor

Description This smart filament detection sensor helps you prevent problems with your filament. When a problem is detected, an error will appear on the screen and printing will be automatically paused. It can detect 4 problems: clogged nozzle, filament tangled, running out of filament and extruder problems. This is done by means of a very precise photoelectric sensor.

Real-time status indication
A light indicates the status of your filament. With blue flashing light, printing proceeds normally, with red light the filament is empty or broken. If there is a continuous blue light or no light, it could be one of the other problems that this sensor can detect. To find out exactly what the problem is, you can check your filament and extruder.

Easily install on your printer
The bi-directional supply system ensures that you will have no problems with installation. The sensor is 53.1mm x 30.3mm x 27.3mm and has 3 mounting holes for easy attachment to your printer.

Other functionalities
The smart filament detection sensor is equipped with a filament feed lever, making it easy to load filament. It also has firmware support for RRF, Klipper and Marlin and works with both a direct drive extruder and a bowden extruder.
