Duet3D assembled filament monitor kit v3.0

Description With the Duet3D Filament Monitor Kit v3.0, the days of failed prints are over. Connect the Duet3D to a Duet 2 or Duet 3 and it will monitor the movement of the filament to prevent the most common extrusion problems. This includes running out of the spool, skipping parts of the print, clogging the nozzle and getting the filament stuck. The kit comes fully assembled in an MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) printed housing. Duet3D | Duet 3 Magnetic Encoder

Description The Duet3D Magnetic Encoder is compatible with the Duet 3 Expansion 1HCL. This allows you to accurately measure the position and rotation of the motor, because it uses a hall effect sensor. This detects the rotation of a magnet attached to the back of the motor. The encoder comes with a 150mm ribbon cable and nylon washers to properly mount it to the back of most NEMA 17 motors.

Please note: You will need replacement (longer) motor screws to attach the Duet 3 magnetic encoder to most NEMA 17 motors. These are not included because the length of the screws depends on the length of your engine.

14 bit on-axis magnetic rotation sensor
The sensor supports a maximum of 14500 RPM
Magnet 4mm thick with a diameter of 6mm
SPI output so that the Duet 3 magnetic encoder can communicate with a Duet 3 Expansion 1HCL controller
3.3 V – compatible with the Duet 3 Expansion 1HCL controller (can be expanded to 5V for other devices)
Compatible with all NEMA17 motors. Motors with a free shaft that sits no more than 3.5mm below the rear of the motor should also be compatible. If the free shaft extends out the back, you will need a mounting system that holds the sensor approximately 1mm from the magnet on the shaft.
For use with a NEMA23 and other sizes: Use an adapter plate or mounting system.
