Prusa XL Satin Powder-coated print sheet

Description This XL satin printing plate with powder coating gives a slightly textured matte finish and optimal adhesion, especially when printing with PLA and PETG. In addition, other filaments can also be used effortlessly, such as ABS, ASA and PC. This product is only suitable for the XL 3D printer from Prusa.

Please note: never clean this plate with acetone. This will create small cracks in the PEI texture, causing the surface to deteriorate more quickly.

Description This smooth PEI coated spring steel sheet is ideal for printing with PLA and offers fantastic adhesion to most materials. The texture of the sheet gives 3D prints a smooth underside. If small marks appear on the sheet, they can be removed by gently going over it in a circular motion with the hard side of a dry kitchen sponge. This product is only suitable for the Prusa XL 3D printer.

Prusa XL Textured Power-coated Print sheet

Description This is a double-sided textured powder-coated spring steel sheet for Original Prusa XL. This heatbed has embedded high Curie temperature magnets. These magnets are able to firmly hold removable spring steel sheets.

Powder coating directly on metal makes it very hard to damage this build plate. If a heated nozzle crashed into it, the metal can dissipate the heat. Powder coating also gives the surface a distinct textured look that will be visible on your prints. The textured surface hides most of the mechanical damage caused by tools. Only the top of the small bumps can be scratched, which will not imprint on the bottom of the model. This surface is used on our print farm, look at the printed parts you have on your printer for reference.
