The Original Prusa XL has been designed with easy upgradeability in mind. Install one of the upgrade packages to increase the number of available toolheads and expand your 3D printing options.

With a toolchanger in place and multiple toolheads, you can preload various filaments and combine them in a single print. With smart object designs, you can minimize the number of supports and even print with no waste whatsoever - no wipe tower, no filament scraps around the printer. Say goodbye to plastic waste that is heavier than the main printed object!

The combination of multiple filaments allows you to save precious material - for example, you can print the main object from PCCF filament and the supports from PLA which brings considerable cost savings!
