Polymaker PolyMide PA6-CF filament in black is a carbon fibre reinforced nylon. This material has very good thermal properties and does not affect the layer adhesion. The filament contains 20% ground carbon fibres, so we recommend using a wear-resistant nozzle.
This material requires a heat treatment process of 6 hours at a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. This process changes the physical and sometimes chemical properties of the material to increase ductility and decrease hardness to make it more machinable.
The black filament has a diameter of 1.75mm and a weight of 0.5kg.
